Encore Avenue

Encore Avenue (EA) is a Canadian English language Category A premium television service. Encore Avenue is designated to operate west of the Ontario-Manitoba border, including the territories. Encore Avenue is owned by Corus Entertainment. Encore Avenue offers a variety of classic films from the 1970s to the 1990s on two 24-hour pay-television channels, Encore Avenue and Encore Avenue 2.
Encore Avenue is carried by various Canadian cable, IPTV, and satellite television providers in Western Canada including Bell TV, Shaw Direct, Shaw, Access Communications, TELUS TV and more. It is the equivalent of Mpix, which is available in the rest of Canada.
Channels and content
Encore Avenue operates three multiplex channels, two standard definition channels and one high definition channel. Encore Avenue operates as a separate service with a separate license with is sister network Movie Central, although EA is sold together in a package with Movie Central.

- Encore Avenue 2 - Films from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Formally called "Comic Strip".
- Encore Avenue HD - A high-definition feed alternating between simulcasts of Encore Avenue 1 & 2. Launched on April 24, 2008.
